The course will cover the basic cross border tax and financial planning issues, primarily through a series of questions that should be asked of cross border clients. Through the use of questions, the course will cover the issues surrounding citizenship, residency, tax compliance, and learning the client’s story. From there, the course will explore some of the more technical areas and will end with conclusions.

"I have taken several Cross Border webinars. I found Dale Walters' 90 presentation to be extremely approachable as an overview and framework from which to delve further. With this excellent framework and with the in depth reference materials listed I can guide my clients more competently. I would welcome an follow-on presentation to delve more deeply into those who are required to file US Tax Returns due to the following - Foreign students with scholarship income applied to US college tuitions, Foreign real estate holders, Snow birds with varying lengths of stays in the US, Amazon.com sellers living outside the USA but receiving 1099 slips, US bank account and US stock holders."Lloyd Doletski (Self Employed)
"The speaker spoke in a fluent manner. The information was presented at a reasonable pace. I had no questions on the information presented. The displays were easy to read, very informative and answered any questions, which came to mind . The speaker was skilled in utilizing the displays in presenting the information of the webinar."Lester Pieczonka (czonka and youhas llp)
"AS the fine speaker noted, he could spend hours on foreign treaties and all those other contingencies that enter the tax picture, but the important item was just to make us aware that these exist and to deal with specialists."Margaret Duganski (Margaret Duganski)
"Another great webinar covering cross-border tax considerations. I found it very helpful. Thanks again for providing this knowledge platform with expert speakers."Elizabeth Grenfell (Grenfell & Associates Inc)
"This seminar exceeded my expectations. I learned quite a lot and will definitely put to good use as I have several dual status citizens (US=Canada)"Steven Kandel (Kandel & Co)
"so much information in seminar. i intend to print information for future reference. i do not have any Canadian clients well done seminar"James Hennick (Quandt Berndt)
"Mr. Walters provided a wealth of information on this complex subject. A lot to learn, and it felt like we just scratched the surface."AYODEJI TIYAMIYU (HARVEST)
